Growing up, I accepted pretty early on that i had a very smart older sister… it was a bit later that I realized suddenly one day, that I was also followed by a pretty smart younger brother. I will admit that was a bit harder! I do consider myself a bit of an expert now in the identification of those people who have a bit more to offer and who “see more than others see”…so when my two year old Sara used to talk to me in the kitchen in full sentences and abstract ideas over a bowl of mac n’cheese, I pretty well knew what I was dealing with….
I just wanted to share with you that Sara was just awarded a 1/2 tuition 4 year academic scholarship to Bishop Eustace Prepatory Catholic High School. It was based on a scholarship exam she sat for in October. Only 8 students of the 200+ incoming freshmen are awarded academic scholarships. We are pretty proud of her…maybe she’ll get that iphone6 when it comes out after all….
Actually, you were followed by FIVE pretty smart younger brothers! Congrats to Sara — did you have any doubts she’d score so well?
If she is *really* smart, she will get an Android phone… great job, Sara, you big smarty pants!
She deserves a trip to Nepal!
that is incredible news, CONGRATS sara! we will have to celebrate when we’re back stateside…so proud of her!
I think it all started with Great Grandmama Bertha Lee Rava…
