Turning four is a big right of passage around here–you are allowed to go to Three Mile Island Camp, our family camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Eliza’s first summer was a huge hit! She was literally shrieking with joy each day–the weather was fantastic and our little fish of a girl stayed in the lake almost the entire time. She even jumped off the High dive! We’ll save ‘Wicked High’ for next summer. Campfires, spending time with family and new friends, sleeping in a cabin without electricity, fishing, and the square dance at week’s end were some of the other highlights. By the end of the week, she was scampering up the paths without shoes, without an adult. Already counting down the days until we can return next summer….
