Uncle Rob and Auntie Cyndi, the most intrepid travelers that we know, arrived in Dharamsala last week after flights from SAC–>LAX–>PEK–>DEL–>KTM (one week’s stay with the Nepal Freitas’)–>DEL–>12 hour car ride…and finally arrived safe and sound, albeit quite weary.
We were so impressed and thrilled that our Sacramento family came to visit us in this magical place. Highlights of their short stay (Paloma was missing them too much!) were attending the Dalai Lama’s teachings, hiking up the Baghsu waterfall (complete with the typical Indian tourist paparazzi clicking pics of ‘barbie’ Eliza), chasing Eliza around Dal Lake and eating lots of fantastic Tibetan and Indian food. Hopefully it was a relaxing and restful trip before the arduous journey home. We miss you already, Rob and Cyndi, and Eliza keeps asking everyday, ‘where auntie cyndi and uncle robert go?’
And now we sit here anxiously awaiting election news from far away!
